Dear God

why do you never laugh?

was it lost in the edit, or do you just leave the rejoicing to us?

Are we to settle for a calm peace of inner joy without the swinging highs of life?

Is it to much for me to let go of the variety of living life for a sedate God?

Its safer, it feels better.

Its supposed to be right.

But who said so?

God is hardly sedate bro. hmmm your brother lent me a book entitled, "your God is too small" and it deals with the common misconceptions we have about God. i'll pass it back to u once i'm done. but God is not sedate and hardly wants us to live in gray gloom and close to morbid boredom! he said he came to give life, and life abundant(!!!) at that! of course he gave some moral guidelines and KPIs but nonetheless, Christian life is EXCITING!=)

as for the laughter bit. hmmm amybe God wants to laugh with us, when we enjoy him. (that's my question of the week. "what does it mean to enjoy God?")

Take care bro! Praying!
